About Mrs. Wallace
I grew up in Palatine, IL where I attended Palatine High School. After high school I obtained a degree in Elementary Education from Augustana College. I have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.
I have been teaching at Lake in the Hills Elementary since 2006 and have taught second and fourth grade at LITH. One of my favorite subjects to teach is math. I knew that I wanted to be a teacher since I was in third grade, I really enjoy helping others and I have always enjoyed working with kids.
My husband, Mr. Wallace, is a social studies teacher and basketball coach at Jacobs High School in Algonquin. I have a daughter, Ashley, who was born in June of 2011 and a son, Aiden, who was born in April of 2013. When I’m not working at school I really enjoy exercising, scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with my family. I enjoy running and I have run four marathons and a triathlon. I also enjoy traveling. Be sure to look for my travel pictures under the About Mrs. Wallace tab.
My daughter Ashley was born on June 20, 2011.
Mr. Wallace and I the summer of 2010 in St. Petersburg Russia.
